Rosacea is a very harmful disease which generally attacks your skin and causes irritation and a painful redness under your eyes and at the centre of your face. Sometimes it can also attack your neck, cheeks, ears, scalp or even on nose.  This disease is very common among Irish and British people. Rosacea can be seen in both men and women but the chances are three times more in women. This disease develops between the ages of 30 to 60. Apart from redness some other symptoms of the disease are red gritty eyes, stinging sensation and disorder in blood vessels.

Some medical terms for Rosacea are Telangiectasia and Rhinophyma. There are basically 4 categories of this disease namely Papulopustular, Erythematotelangiectatic, Phymatous and Ocular. There are also various treatments for the disease but it`s very important that you choose a right one. Before going for the treatment you should always consult a skin specialist. There can be many reasons for the occurrence of Rosacea like Intestinal Bacteria, Cathelicidins and Demodex mites. Doctors generally prescribe the patients to go for a treatment at the starting stage. Because in the beginning if cured properly you get completely rid of it but as the level increases it becomes difficult to get out of it.
